Students prepare for a holly jolly winter break

Celebrations, gatherings, and yearly traditions, create new memories during winter break. Many memories can be made in the kitchen during the Christmas season. “I go to my grandparents and we make cookies and lefse while jamming to Christmas music,” said Senior Katie Rivers.

Others enjoy the less busy side of things. “We relax, watch Christmas movies, and listen to music together as a family,” said Sophomore Kayla Paumen. 

New Year’s is right around the corner once Christmas shenanigans wrap up. “During winter break we are loaded with family time, Christmas is our grandparents, and New Year’s is cousins,” said Eighth Grader Alex Kiebel. 

Winter break will sure bring memories that will last a lifetime, no matter who you celebrate with or where you gather.
