Watching winning plays in between parts, junior flutist Izzy Awe has a thrilling time at one of this year’s pep fest. “The thing I like the most about pep band,” said Awe. “Is getting to hang out with friends and watch games.” While playing since fifth grade, Awe has gotten good at finding time to have fun at school events while doing her part to add accompaniment.
