During Kimball’s Tuesday meet sophomore Joseph Rieber and Senior Linus Brown persevere through the ups and downs. “I think running a harder course makes you better because then when you run an easier course mentally you know it can’t be as bad as your last one,” Brown said. Brown ended with a time of 24:40 and Rieber ended with 24:42.

Catch me if you can

Pushing through Mikayla Koss runs at Kimball on October 7. “It doesn’t really matter what course I have to run, I am just going to go out there and do my best,” said Koss. Koss crossed the finish line at the time of 27:30.

Pass them, don’t Pace them

Running at the Kimball golf course, Kass Fynboh passes an opponent. “At the meet I felt I didn’t do the best I could, but you live and learn and when times get a little rough you try harder,” said Fynboh. Fynboh ended her race with a time of 28:32.

Uphill Battles

Keeping strong, Kaitlyn Main and Sammi Wassermann run a different race at Kimball golf course on October 7. “The Kimball course was really challenging because it’s pretty much all hills. I prefer flatter courses because I usually get better times on them,” Wassermann said. Main finished with a time of 30:34 and Wassermann finished in 31:07.
