During a tight-score baseball game on May 16, eighth grader Landon Salmela pitches a fastball to try and keep the score in their favor. “My favorite part about pitching is being able to have control of the game,” said Salmela. He was able to keep Eden Valley-Watkins from scoring, securing the win for the Irish.
