Tree-mendous Traditions

Traditions bring tidings and joy

Decorating the tree, cookie baking, gift wrapping, and spreading holiday cheer…all different ways to bring the family together and continue long-lasting traditions. Junior Dani Geyen said, “Every year we get a real Christmas tree and have our cousins over for a day of Christmas baking.”

Many students enjoy the yearly holiday traditions that their families participate in. “I enjoy holiday traditions because they bring my family together and it is something special that I will remember forever,” said Sophomore Kenyon Kingsbury.

Even as they get older, students still seem to find great joy and excitement in holiday traditions. Senior Jordan Gries said, “It’s so fun to get everyone together and experience the joy that the holiday season brings.”

With the holidays right around the corner, families begin to put the finishing touches of tinsel on their tree, frost the cookies and assemble gingerbread houses. All while continuing to create holiday magic with irreplaceable holiday traditions.
