Take Your Best Shot

Trap Team Takes on New Targets

As the season starts, the team is readying their guns and getting their gear together. “Trap is different because it is a team sport but you focus on yourself more than others and it’s a really hard mental game,” said Sophomore Evan Hennen. There are many skills that go into being a good trap shooter and that can influence kids to want to join.

Like a lot of sports, trap is a great way to get outside and have fun with friends. “I joined trap because I love hunting and I love shooting with my friends,” said Sophomore Jack Peterson. Trap pushes team members to improve in their shooting skills and have a good time while doing it.

Trap is always open for new spots to grow their team. Eighth grader Jakob Hanson said, “I’ve always wanted to join trap shooting and I wanted to try something new so I decided to try it.” Trying a new sport or activity is an awesome way to figure out your talents and what you like to do.
