Gymnastic season starts with a flip, not a flop

Gymnastic started the season with a win over Dassel Cokato. “The team did really well and a lot better than what I was expecting,” said Freshman Abby Gagnon. The team also took first over Annandale.

The team’s work payed off with two wins. Freshman grace Praska said, “Even though we have lost an important senior from last year, I still think we look strong. There were many improvements made over the summer.” The team lost three gymnast, but still has big goals.

Everyone wants to be champions. Captain Olivia LaTour said, “My goal for the team is to beat Becker this year because they lost a lot of seniors.” LaTour also said she would like the team to score 135. The highest the team has ever scored was 136.925 back in 2010.
