 Students Ponder on Past Halloweens

Trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! Halloween is an enjoyable holiday where kids can dress – up as whatever they want and collect free candy. Many students take delight in remembering their favorite Halloween memory. One memory that Junior, Sammi Wassermann is very fond of is her spectacular costume. “I went trick-or-treating as a purple care bear when I was four. It was the cutest costume ever!” said Wassermann.

Memories can also be made with family. Seventh grader Vienna Pierson reflects on her favorite Halloween memory. “My cousins and I went to a haunted house and got super scared. It was fun though.”

Going to a haunted house can also be a tradition. Eighth grader, Rachel Fobbe has her own tradition. “My family and I always go up to my grandma’s house and then my cousins and I all go trick – or – treating together.”

Dressing-up, trick-or-treating, making memories are only a few reasons why students love Halloween so much.
