The Spring Break itch is something that affects all students and teachers alike. Snow melts, temps crawl higher and higher, and plane tickets get booked to warmer places. “I’m going five hours up north  to go on a 70 mile bike ride with my family,” said Sophomore Jacob Jude.

A week without school opens up plenty of opportunities like that. Others seek escape to much farther away places. “I’m flying down to Texas to spend the week with my cousins,” said Sophomore Matt Gendreau.

Even vacations and family visits eventually come to an end and we all have to return home to everyday life. “I usually just tell myself that I don’t have school tomorrow and try to make it seem like it’s not happening, but yeah it’s happening,” said Junior Colton Christopherson regarding going back to school.

Though the week of break is short term escape form the daily routine, we all know that a much longer one is just couple short months around corner.
